Zenova Group PLC   (“Zenova”, the “Company” or the “Group”), a provider of innovative fire safety and heat management technology and products, is pleased to announce that Southdown Housing Association has selected its innovative insulation products for a pilot project making use of the insulating properties and capabilities of Zenova IR render and Zenova IP paint, with a view to installing the products across the trust’s estate where required.

Zenova is undertaking a full pilot with Southdown Housing to assist them in reducing their carbon footprint under the new Government legislation guidelines of zero carbon emissions. With most local authorities looking to achieve this target by 2030, Zenova’s innovative products can contribute significantly to accomplishing these objectives. Building operational emissions, which include heating, cooling and lighting, contribute to 28% of all global emissions.   

The pilot is located in a semi-detached residential property that will be rendered using Zenova IR and Zenova IP within the roof space. Southdown Housing is a specialist charity housing provider and social landlord for vulnerable people, with 580 properties based in Sussex County. It was established in 1972 and has grown to become one of the largest voluntary sector employers in Sussex, providing care and support for over 10,000 people.
